Hello! My name is Lucy Rizzotti, I am a Children’s book illustrator based in Liverpool, UK. I am a recent graduate from Liverpool John Moores University, with a BA in Graphic Design and Illustration, and from Manchester Metropolitan University with an MA in Publishing, specialising in children’s publishing. I am a published picture book illustrator, currently seeking representation through a literary agency.
My work includes rich, vibrant imagery of nature and engaging, emotive characters. I paint using mainly traditional mediums, with a mixture of digital elements. I incorporate a lot of mixed media. I tend to find my inspiration through nature, animals, and real-life experiences. When I'm not illustrating, I enjoy reading fiction, baking delicious cakes, hiking through nature, and swimming.
I am currently illustrating a new picture book, "What's Interesting About You?" which will be published in early 2026. Alongside this, I am available for freelance illustration projects. If you're interested, feel free to email me!
