Hello! My name is Lucy Rizzotti, I am a Children’s book illustrator based in Liverpool, UK. I am a recent graduate from Liverpool John Moores University, with a BA in Graphic Design and Illustration, and from Manchester Metropolitan University with an MA in Publishing, specialising in children’s publishing. I am a published picture book illustrator, currently seeking representation through a literary agency.
My work includes rich, vibrant imagery of nature and engaging, emotive characters. I paint using mainly traditional mediums with a mixture of digital, I use a lot of mixed media! I find my inspiration through the lush landscapes of the North West. When I'm not illustrating, I enjoy reading literary fiction, baking delicious cakes, hiking through nature, and spending time with my studio assistant/pet parakeet, Charlie!
I am currently working on illustrating a new picture book, "What's Interesting About You?" which will be published towards the end of 2025. Alongside this I am available for freelance illustration projects, if you're interested, feel free to email me!
