Hello! My name is Lucy Rizzotti, I am a Children’s book illustrator from Liverpool, England. I recently graduated from Liverpool John Moores University with a BA in Graphic design and Illustration and from Manchester Metropolitan University with an MA in publishing, specialising in children’s publishing. I am a published picture book illustrator, seeking representation through a literary agency.
My work includes rich, vibrant imagery of nature and engaging, emotive characters. I paint using mainly traditional mediums with a mixture of digital, I use a lot of mixed media! I find my inspiration in the lush parks of Liverpool and the North West. When I'm not illustrating, I enjoy reading mystery novels, baking delicious cakes, walking through nature, and spending time with my studio assistant/pet parakeet Charlie!
As a recent graduate, I am working on building up my children’s illustration portfolio. My proudest achievement so far in my career is illustrating my first picture book, All About Grace.
